We can still do feel wonderful and in a highly democratic and civil state? We can believe with confidence in the integrity of law enforcement? Or should we be afraid of not always being able to express freedom of thought and suspect that the police are not always on the side of citizens feel helpless and mistrust? Guzzanti would say, "the second you said." This week the sentence for the 29 policemen accused of violence nell'irruzione on the school during the G8 summit in 2001. Years later, every time I read the news pages of that day and the next, I have to stop at some point because I did not quite "stomach" to get to the bottom of the descriptions of torture and abuse suffered by dozens of people young and old, during the repressive police and carabinieri, in those days.
In those days human rights were temporarily suspended, the complaint and Amnesty International have accused the diplomats of Germany and England was suspended for making room for the violence raging, dopata and stirred up the "security forces". SUSPENDED to make room for guarded prognosis, the heads split by truncheon blows. Suspended to allow the action of "flocks" vicious, armed against unarmed and innocent people. In seven years the truth has come out in large part, time has "thrown up" a lot of details, many tricks (including the false discovery of two Molotov cocktails), many reliable facts, so that today there is no room for discussion on culpability on the part which is wrong or right. No meaningful discussion can be reasonably heard about it. Who can still be convinced of the need to take measures of "law enforcement" to Diaz, it's just a naive, very little documented.
My greatest desire is that you do not confuse the memory of those events in those days. A sense of claustrophobia I take when I hear people who now dismiss the case with a review simplistic and hasty and too many people think that "certain bullies they deserved it" ...
I think if I do not care about my country, I'm so ashamed of what I witnessed in those days of July ...
